I have recently been given the chance and opportunity to go back to Orphanage Emmanuel on a mission trip! I have felt that God has been calling me back to Honduras, and this year the opportunity has reopened up! I will have the chance to join up with another local church and go to the country of Honduras. At the end of the summer, I will be going to Orphanage Emmanuel that is located in Guaimaca, Honduras. This orphanage currently has 482 children, ranging from newborn to 18 years of age. These kids in the orphanage come from broken homes, where their parents have lost them due to abuse, financial struggles, or other traumatic issues. The orphanage takes these children in, gives them a safe place to grow, and gives them a solid Christian education. They have most recently started up a new ministry where they help those who have “aged” out of the orphanage by setting them up in an apartment and helping them learn how to live on their own. I will be going there to help with the chores on the farm, or any projects. We will also be there to help out with the spread thin staff, by playing with and showing love to the children at any time. Jesus has really placed missions on my heart, and I could not be more excited to go and spread the love of Christ to Honduras. He calls us to go and spread the good news, and show compassion and love to others. This trip will end up costing $1,200. It would mean the world to me if you would please pray for safe travels as the team and I travel there and back. If the Lord leads you to donate towards my trip, any and every donation would be overwhelmingly appreciated! . Our goal is to be an extra set of hands to the people, but ultimately we want to change lives for Jesus.
